Site5 is fast becoming one of my favourite web hosts. With only 2 simple plans to choose from and a whole bunch of installed features by default, you should definetely consider Site5 if you're looking for a web host.
Company Description
Site5 is a privately-owned California corporation founded in 1998 by Matt Lightner and Rod Armstrong. Financing the entire process through personal investments, Matt and Rod grew Site5 from a small company reselling single hosting accounts into an industry icon operating nearly 100 servers and its own network.
Overview
Site5 is a very impressive web host. From their candid humour running throughout the Site5.com website, to the great technical support, avid fans and ofcourse great web hosting.
Site5 has 2 plans to choose from, both packed with features. A "Horsepower" plan for single domain websites and a "True MultiSite" Plan that caters for multiple sites and domains, usually used by resellers and web developers. Site5 was also awarded a score of 97/100 by Webhost Magazine & Buyer's Guide, the industry's most trusted independent guide. To sum up, I would say that if I wasn't happy with my current host for this site, then Site5 would definetely be the place i'd switch to.
Technology
Site5 supports only Linux hosting at this time and does not provide any Windows hosting.
Support
Site5 offers email / ticket support 24/7/365 and has an average response time of 15 minutes (Quoted from site5.com). Their support is known throughout the industry to be way above industry standard.
Site Load Speed
The table below (courtest of Alertra Site Monitoring ) shows the load times of a sample site hosted with Site5.com. Quite impressive, around the 1 sec mark for most cities around the U.S.
Control Panel
Site5 uses a very heavily skinned / modified version of Cpanel, which looks and runs great! Extremely easy to use and very configurable, much easier to manage than a default Cpanel skin. It comes with a bunch of features and ready to install scripts.

Pricing
Site5's HorsePower plan is $6.95 per month if paid annually, and $16.95 for the True MultiSite Plan.
Overall Rating
Site5 comes highly recommended for both small to medium sized websites with under 10,000 unique visits a day.
9.5 / 10
